Thank You for Attending
We want to thank everyone who came out to our first Coach & Parent Preseason meeting. It was great to see so many people there and we hope that everyone went home with a lot of helpful information. For those that could not be there, below are some handouts that were available for the coaches and parents.
SMYS Handbook - Fall 2015 We encourage everyone to print the official 2015 SMYS Handbook for your reference. Much of what was covered at the meeting is in the book which includes important dates of interest.
City Letter to Parents - Fall 2015 Please take a moment to read this letter from the City of San Marcos about our city parks and fields.
Headsup Flyer SMYS is making an effort to promote Concussion Awareness to all of our Coaches, Parents, and Players. For every parent that takes this online course, the league will donate one practice vest (pinney) to their child's team. If every parent takes the course, every player in the league will have a pinney!
SMYS is so thankful for all of our sponsors; for their donations are a key part of keeping our registration fees so low; making soccer affordable for everyone. Please print some flyers and forms and take them to your favorite restaurant or business and ask them if they would like to support your soccer league.

We are excited to bring Special Needs Soccer back to San Marcos Youth Soccer through the Cal South TOPSoccer program for the Fall 2015 Season!
TOPSoccer is a modified version of the game of soccer. It was designed to provide opportunities for special needs children who refuse to let their challenges stop them from playing the game they love. It provides an affordable opportunity for fitness, fun, and building self-esteem. Modifications are made to the game to allow full participation and enjoyment for each child. One-on-one assistance is available to those who are in need of it. TOPS Soccer offers a recreational, leisure approach to the game of soccer. The Outreach Program for Soccer is a community based recreational program specifically designed to help disabled children participate in the world's most popular sport. "Our goal is to provide these children with a safe environment where they can participate in a team and have fun"
